This property is available after an extensive remodel done to highlight the historic elements. Everything was renovated, including all new plumbing, wiring, foundation, flooring, paint, kitchen cabinets, appliances, windows, central air and heat, and more. Unit 102 has high ceilings, huge double-hung windows (many custom built to match the original style). The entire unit as beautiful mosaic tile throughout. The kitchen features an original cast-iron sideboard sink, new appliances and cabinetry. The large bedroom has a ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom. The living room has windows facing toward lush foliage with a partial view of the historic homes nearby. Antique chandeliers and sconces add to the historic feel of this tastefully renovated apartment. Carefully curated antique furniture and decor is accented by newer items that fit the style, creating the perfect home setting. With a new LG 50" television and a Victorian sofa and floor lamp, the living room feels classic but functional and modern. The bedroom has a plush, new queen-size mattress on a beautiful antique bed frame reminiscent of the early 1900s. There is a mix of new and antique furniture to compliment the historic look and feel of the home. There is also a microwave for quick meals and warming up leftovers.
