Additional house rules

We have a STRICT cancellation policy. Due to so many circumstances that are out of the control of us and our guests, such as illness, and weather events, we cannot re-book for future dates. Cancellations will be based on the official policy listed. Please purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover such issues. Allianz offers a very reasonable annual plan. Early check-in and late check-out is NOT an option. We've tried to offer this for free, and for a fee. We've determined we always need the window of time between guests to make sure everything is perfect. Everyone comes to New Orleans to enjoy themselves and have a good time and we encourage all guests to do so. Please remember though, that we are also a place of rest and relaxation. We strive very hard to maintain a very balanced ambiance to ensure all our guests can enjoy their stay. We kindly ask all guests to please observe the following: 1. Please respect our check-in/out times. Check out instructions are provided in several places. Failure to follow these instructions will result in an extra cleaning charge. 2. Smoking and vaping is not allowed anywhere in the unit (this includes balconies, hallways, stairways, and entry). Smoking is only allowed in the courtyard. Smoking or vaping inside will result in a cleaning/disinfecting fees of $300 or more. 3. We do NOT allow dogs or pets of any kind, including ESAs. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please don’t ask. If we determine a pet is on the property (whether seen on camera or from other visible signs), you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund, and we will impose a $300 additional cleaning fee. Certified ADA animals only. 4. All guests should come and go in a quiet respectful manner that does not intrude on any other guests' enjoyment. Quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 8:00am. 5. Please do not add extra guests. Our short-term rental permit has a limited number of guests, and adding extra guests can jeopardize our permit. 6. The courtyard and the unit is for the exclusive use of registered guests only. Guests should always use common sense and good judgment in their behavior. 7. Parties or gatherings of any type are not allowed in the unit or courtyard. Please do not use the property as a gathering place for others not staying there. There are several bars close by which can be used for this purpose. There are exterior cameras, and the police will be called if we believe there is a party happening. 9. Please do not share your access code with anyone not registered as staying here; this includes friends, family, and delivery services. Please meet all delivery persons at the front gate. 10. Loud, rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, or disorderly behavior is not allowed at any time. We will give one courtesy warning for any such behavior. If such behavior continues, you and your party will be evicted without refund. If necessary, we will call NOPD for assistance. 11. We will bill for any permanently stained/ruined towels and linens. Linens, blankets, and towels are not to be removed from the unit. Please do not take these items to parks or festivals. 12. Normal cleaning fees are included in all rental rates, and you are not required to clean before checking out. However, we will bill for any excessive/abnormal cleaning, damages, or missing items, or unnecessary service calls. 13. Plumbing in the Marigny is very old and can clog easily. Please do not ever flush anything other than toilet paper, regardless of what any packaging may say, ESPECIALLY make-up wipes or any feminine products. 14. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or items left behind. Please make sure to check the property to ensure you have all your belongings before you check out.
